DEOC has deep expertise in Reasonable or Workplace Accommodation, grounded in years of practical experience, research, and implementation across diverse disabilities. Providing such accommodations not only meets the legal mandate under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016, but also ensures that the skills of people with disabilities are fully harnessed.
We follow a structured, consultative process — engaging with the individual to understand their functional needs, job responsibilities, and barriers. Based on this, we recommend tailored workplace adjustments in collaboration with the employee. We also work closely with HR, managers, and facility teams to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
Our recommendations are documented, confidentiality is strictly maintained, and feedback is gathered to assess effectiveness and make improvements. Where needed, we collaborate with a trusted network of specialists for further assessments or rehabilitation support.
